Statement of Research Interests
My research draws on Critical Geography, Global South Studies, and Infrastructure Studies to better understand the global commodity chain and its effects on the economic and social life of formal and informal workers in Mexico City.
Statement of Teaching Philosophy
As a writing consultant, I emphasize the collaborative form of education that engages students to participate as co-creators of knowledge. This approach allows students from diverse backgrounds and experiences to include their perspectives in formulating theories and analyzing processes that impact not only their scholarship but society at large.
