Hi! My name is McKenna, and I'm looking forward to working as a consultant with the CAPC! I'm a junior at Hanszen studying English (concentrating on creative writing) and psychology. Outside of class, I'm heavily involved in Rice theatre, including the Rice Players and Hanszen's theatre committee, and I'm president of Spontaneous Combustion, Rice's improv troupe. I also play the ukulele for the Marching Owl Band (MOB) and am editor-in-chief for R2: The Rice Review. When I have free time, I like knitting, crocheting, playing ukulele or guitar, and reading, both novels, and comics. As someone who's aiming to be an author and an editor, I'm really excited to be working with others to help them become more confident in their writing and communication skills. I'm always so impressed by all the great ideas I hear in conversations at Rice; I hope I can help you share yours more clearly!
