Hi there! I am a 3rd year PhD student in Dr. Matthew McCary's lab in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Program here at Rice, studying how species interactions scale up to affect nutrient cycling and ecosystem functioning. When not working, I enjoy running along the Bayou, going to concerts, and exploring the museums and charms of Houston. I also love writing, both creative and scientific, so I am excited to be a CAPC consultant this year. Communicating our thoughts to the world is one of the greatest gifts we have!
