Steven Perry received his PhD in Political Science from Rice University. His research interests include effective data communication, public policy, and political psychology. In addition to teaching courses on data communication, Steven serves as the major advisor for Rice’s Social Policy Analysis program, and has taught classes on civic engagement, public policy, policy analysis, and on the governments of the United States and Texas. Steven has received grants from the American Political Science Association and the Southern Political Science Association, and his work has been featured in several academic publications and periodicals, including Social Science Quarterly, the Journal of Political Science Education, and the Political Science Educator.
