The PWC employs full-time Lecturers to teach First-year Writing-Intensive Seminar (FWIS) courses, and to manage special projects for the Program in Writing & Communication.
Lecturers teach at least four FWIS courses, and as many as six courses total each year (only two or three course preps). The sixth course slot in a lecturer’s teaching load may be filled by another communication course or additional duties in the CAPC or PWC, including teaching English as a Second Language courses, evaluating Rice matriculants’ composition exams, facilitating communication workshops, or contributing to program assessment or research in communication.
Opportunities will be posted here as available. There are no open positions at this time.
